What does CAHSEE mean?
CAHSEE is an acronym for the California High School Exit Examination. In California all students attending high school must pass the math and English section in order to be eligible to graduate with a diploma. Students should take this test first when they are in their tenth grade year. In the event they do not pass, they can retake the test twice in grade eleven and up to five times in the fifth grade. For more information on the CAHSEE examination visit the California Department of Education Center.
